Starting or Updating a Gym?
American Gymnast can help assist you every step of the way. Our expert services will help you choose a design, layout and product selection to maximize your gym's size and budget. The following are some ideas to consider when starting a gym.

Step 1: Determine the Size of Your Gym

What is the square footage of the floor space available for your gymnastics equipment? Will your gymnastics facility include in-ground pits, and what gymnastics equipment will use them?

Step 2: Choose the Programs You Offer

Gymnastics programs across the country offer a variety of different classes. The programs your gym offers will determine the type of gymnastics equipment you will need to purchase. The following are examples of programs offered by most gymnastics gyms.
  • Girls Competitive
  • Girls Recreational
  • Boys Competitive
  • Boys Recreational
  • Preschool
  • Tumbling
  • Cheerleading
  • Birthday Parties
  • Martial Arts

Step 3: Select Your Best Product Mix

Based on the answer to the first two questions, we can help you optimize your program for the available space and select the best product mix to fit your budget. Browse through all of our available items by visiting our online catalog here.

After reviewing our online catalog, contact us to request a customized equipment quote on the items you have selected. If you make a list or spreadsheet listing the quantity of each product number you desire and copy and paste it in the contact form (or email it separately), it will expedite our ability to send you a quote. Of course, if you need assistance in choosing the appropriate products, we will be happy to help you.

Step 4: Optimize Your Gym Layout

Using Auto Cad Drawings, American Gymnast can design a recommended layout* of gymnastics equipment for your gym. Let's face it, purchasing gymnastics equipment is not cheap. Why wait until it's too late to decide whether everything you want to order will fit into your space.

Step 5: Secure Financing
In Partnership with
Crest Capital Equipment Finance
Most new gymnastics gyms require financing. There are various sources of financing available such as bank loans and the Small Business Administration. Over the years, American Gymnast has developed relationships with many financial institutions. Click on the image to the left to get an immediate quote from our recommended lender.

Step 6: Installation

Setup and installation can be a tedious task for new gym owners. Ask us about installing your new gymnastics equipment.
