American Gymnast was one of the first dealers to have the brand new AAI International Asymmetric Uneven Bars out on the competition floor.  We brought 2 sets of these bars to the recent National Gymnastics Challenge that we setup in Athens, GA March 8-10, 2013.

AAI International Asymmetric Uneven Bars - Adjustment MarkingsInitially, the coaches were a little confused by the new international markings on the bars, but all of them seemed to adjust quickly after looking over the conversion chart we provided.  All of the coaches I talked to after the meet stated that after figuring out their settings, they loved the way the bars felt.  AAI International Asymmetric Uneven Bars - SpreaderSome thought they felt more sturdy, and some thought they were easier to adjust, maybe due to the fact that there is now only one set of collars to adjust on the spreaders.

AAI International Asymmetric Uneven Bars - FIG Markings

Overall, the bars were well-received and will certainly help coaches and athletes that are preparing for international competition adjust to more international settings.  These new bars are now released for sale to the public, and we have 2 Demo sets currently in-stock at a great deal!
