| Beginner Palm Grips
Palm Grips are intended to provide a basic level of protection over just the palm of the gymnast's hand. These gymnastics grips are typically used by beginner (non-competitive) gymnasts or by athletes training pull-ups and/or basic swings on the apparatus. They can be used by girls or boys on uneven bars, horizontal bar and rings. Please note that Palm Grips DO NOT have a dowel. Once the gymnast is swinging bar height (horizontal), it is typically recommended they begin using Dowel Grips.
