For Model # 478-102 (5'x10'x1.5" Size)
AAI IM folding mats are recommended for use in general physical education
programs, as basic tumbling mats, as basic mats to use beneath apparatus landing mats and as wall padding. Model 478-102 shall be 5' (1524mm) wide and 10' (3048mm) long and shall be constructed in 2' (600mm) panels. It shall use polyethylene foam padding of 1-1/2" (38mm) thickness. The panel colors alternate between pink and white. This mat meets ASTM F1676-96 Standard Specification for Basic Tumbling Mats.

The mat shall be constructed using 2' x 4' x 1-1/2" (600mm x ? x 38mm) sections of polyethylene foam. The density of this foam is 1.5 lb/ft3 (24 kg/m3).
For Model # 478-102 (5'x10'x1.5" Size)
The mat shall be constructed using five (5) 2' x 5' x 1-1/2" (600mm x 1524mm x 38mm) sections of polyethylene foam. The density of this foam is 1.5 lb/ft3 (24kg/m3).
Vinyl mat cover: The vinyl cover shall be manufactured from a vinyl-coated polyester fabric. The polyester base weight is 5 oz. per square yard and the base material has a 18 x 17 scrim count and and 1000 x 1300 denier. The material shall contain anti-fungal and anti-bacterial agents and show 100% kill in Cidal tests. The finished, coated weight of the material shall be 18.0 oz. per square yard.
