These Royal and Green folding mats are great for cushioning gymnastics related activities from basic tumbling to sit-ups. These panel mats are also great beneath basic apparatus as landing mats, as well as wall padding.
Mat shall be constructed in 2' (600mm) panels. It shall use polyethylene foam padding of 1-1/2" (38mm) thickness. Panels shall be alternating pink and purple vinyl. This mat meets ASTM F1676-96 Standard Specification for Basic Tumbling Mats. The density of this foam is 1.5 lb/ft3 (24kg/m3).
Vinyl mat cover: The vinyl cover shall be manufactured from a vinyl-coated polyester fabric. The polyester base weight is 5 oz. per square yard and the base material has a 18 x 17 scrim count and and 1000 x 1300 denier. The material shall contain anti-fungal and anti-bacterial agents and show 100% kill in Cidal tests. The finished, coated weight of the material shall be 18.0 oz. per square yard. There is velcro on the short ends of the mat (V2).
