This DVD is the first in a series of instructional DVDs designed for gymnastics and trampoline teachers and coaches. The DVD is written and hosted by National Trampoline Champion David Kennedy, based on curriculum developed over 40 years by Larry Gleason, National Trampoline Team Coach.
What is covered: Trampoline Safety, Progressions for landings, position jumps, turns, and seat drop, front drop, and back drops. We focus on teaching correct progressions and lead-ups for each skill to develop a strong foundation for more advanced skills. Our goal is to provide teachers with tools and techniques to teach basic trampoline skills effectively. Running time is approximately 2 hours.
Larry Gleason has over 40 years of teaching experience. Larry has coached National and World Trampoline Champions, is currently an FIG International trampoline judge, and is highly respected in the world of trampoline.
David Kennedy was coached by Larry Gleason and is a five-time member
of the USA Trampoline Team and National Trampoline Champion. He has
been teaching with Larry Gleason since 1977.
