Last I had heard, this fantastic young gymnast – who became senior eligible this year – had left WOGA and joined Zenith Gymnastics in McKinney, Texas, which is still listed as her home gym on her USAG bio.  But there were also rumors circulating that she had either quit the sport (it doesn’t sound like this is true) or dropped back to Level 10.  If she is still competing elite, she would be eligible for the world championships this year.  If she has continued on the same trajectory she was on last year – particularly on uneven bars – it wouldn’t be farfetched to consider her a contender.

All the qualities of a champion are there, and best of all, she has a fantastic international look on bars.  That routine was already solid with a D-score of 5.5 and wonderful execution, and it clearly had the potential for upgrading this year.  She also showed tons of skills on beam, great flexibility, precise form and technique, decent power on floor and vault, and an overall artistic look that could really take her places.

But where is she now, and will she be in St. Paul this summer?  Drop a comment if you know any updates.
